- More common in iodine-deficient regions (chronic TSH stimulation drives follicular cell proliferation)
FTC spreads haematogenously to lung and bone. PTC spreads lymphatically to cervical lymph nodes. Cervical lymphadenopathy = PTC, not FTC.
